- Staff of the Foundation attended a meeting in Erbil which was arranged by NGOs and SCOs of Kurdistan. The meeting was about discussing the draft of the rules of organizations in Kurdistan .
- Staff of Rebaz Foundation participated in a workshop which was arranged by UNOPS in Sulaimani. The workshop was about writing proposals which lasted for 2 days.
- A conference about developing educational program by American University in Sulaimani AUI-S in 22/1/2009.
- World Wide Military Tolerance Conference in Dukan in 6-7-8/Febrewary. The conference was arranged by a group of activist politics in Iraq.
- Staff of the Foundation participated in a great seminar with President of Kurdistan Region in Hawler, in which all the NGOs of Kurdistan were in vited.
-Staff of the Foundation attended an intensive course about how to treat the child issue and reporting which was arranged by UNECIF in Hawler for 3 days.
-Participating in a meeting between NGOs of Kurdistan and the representatives of Kurdistani list in order to prepare new programs of organizational works.
- Conference about uniting all technical programs in Kurdistan. The conference was arranged by both Rebaz Foundation and Technical study in Sulaimani and Hawler in 27-28-29/ Oct in Sulaimani.
- Rebaz Foundation in cooperation with 8 NGOs in Sulaimani arranged a conference on commemoration date of signing the rights of children in which many children and governmental officials participated.
In order to attend the peace memorial ceremony of Hiroshima and share the feeling of Kurdish people with Japanese people, Rebaz Foundation sent its representative to Japan.
The delegate of Rebaz Foundation had been received and welcomed warmly by Japanese organizations and institutes, especially Mr. Nishi Nishitane (the head of the Save the Children Organization of Hiroshima) in Kansai international airport of Osaka city.
Azhi Dler, the envoy of Rebaz Foundation had participated in several seminars and workshops about the abolition of mass destruction weapons in all over the world as well as presenting a seminar to introduce Rebaz Foundation to Japanese organizations and other foreign delegates and laid wreath of flowers at the tombs of Hiroshima martyrs.
It is worth mentioning that the representative of the organization had been interviewed by Japanese channels, newspapers and University representatives several times in order to talk about the situation of Kurdish people in the last decades, especially the massacre of Kurdish people and the chemical bombardment of Halabja city by the Iraqi former regime.
General Coordinator (Halat Hamawandi) and (Omer Sheramari) board member of the Rebaz Foundation attended an intensive course about (Creating Impact in the Field: hands-on monitoring and Evaluation Training) which was arranged by USIP (United States Institute of Peace) in Lebanon. The course lasted for one week in which members of Rebaz Foundation had theatrical role and were granted certification of the workshop by USIP.
In 21/7/2008 Rebaz Foundation in cooperation with Dento Center made a workshop about how to save and protect teeth for children of Halabja.
This workshop was consisted of two parts; the first one was a lesson for children about saving and protecting their teeth which was supervised by two volunteer doctors, that is in addition to distributing some gifts to all students.
The second part was consisted of checking the children's teeth in order to bring them to Sulaimaniah city for treatment.
It is worth mentioning that this workshop covered wingless butterfly school and public library of Halabja in which Reabz Foundation had opened drawing and story reading courses for the children in the city.
After visiting the wingless butterflies school in Halabja city in 8 / 7 / 2008 and enquiring about their needs, the Rebaz Foundation has provided them a small library and 50 books.
It is worth mentioning this school has been established by a group of children and run it by themselves in order to provide a training course to Halabja children in the summer time.
The purpose behind opening this school is to gather children in holiday and to get benefit from their capacity.
Rebaz Foundation has promised to support and supervise them to perform a drama as well as arranging chain trips to several areas of Kurdistan to make their activities on show.
